KHY X IOANNES

For Khy’s first print collaboration, Kylie chose to work with designer Johannes Boehl Cronau, Founder and Creative Director of Berlin-based label ioannes. Known for masterfully blending contrasting elements—romantic yet rebellious, classic yet edgy—Johannes brings a unique energy to this collection.

FROM KYLIE'S CLOSET TO YOURS

Having worn ioannes pieces for years, Kylie has always resonated with the subtle boldness of Johannes’ designs and his extraordinary ability to fuse juxtaposed feelings together with a sense of creative ease. The collaboration came to life after Kylie reached out to Johannes, inspired by how effortlessly his clothes embodied her own creative intuitions. As Kylie says, “It’s so special for me to work with people like Johannes, who exemplify such commitment to their craft, and to be able to create with them in a way that’s innovative yet accessible to the Khy customer.”

A PIECE OF ART

Together, Kylie and Johannes crafted a collection that merges the worlds of luxury and everyday wear, featuring ten pieces—dresses, tops, skirts, and pants—in a striking black and vibrant pink colorway. The standout element is the floral print, created using solar-sensitive paper and real peonies, which emerged during the close creative dialogue between Kylie and Johannes. “Working with Kylie from start to finish was super organic,” Johannes  explains. “I consistently received feedback from her directly and it was this very back and forth style. The designs are personal, direct, and self-referential, which is a route I haven’t taken before in my work.”

The '90s-inspired, minimalist drop finds synergy between edginess and femininity, between boldness and subtlety. The pieces, which are as comfortable as they are striking, are all about achieving balance. “Expressing myself through clothes is one of the things that made me fall in love with fashion, and I think it’s incredibly special how this collection represents a fusion of artistic expression and practicality,” Kylie notes. “We found a way to create pieces that feel incredible while also being comfortable and versatile enough for any occasion.”

As Johannes puts it, the collection is “simple, eloquent, kind of dangerous”—a perfect embodiment of the spirit behind Khy and Ioannes.
